The Regional Economic Development Plan, also known as the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), analyzes the regional economy, establishes regional economic goals and strategies, and outlines a plan of action.
This study used the Location Quotient, Economic Base Model, and Shift-Share Analysis to explore the structure and performance of industry clusters (groups of related industries) in the Gulf Coast Economic Development District (GCEDD) region.
